Reply to David Kim's question, I think this could have happened in the real world and could have been out on the news, both in Korea and the United States because murders have been common these days.

reply to jennifer - I could infer that Emily was sleeping next to the dead man for a long time. The long, gray strand of hair was probably hers, and the shape left on the pillow was probably of Emily's head.

If Emily's father was alive, Emily would not have married her lover since she would not have been lonely. Also, she would not have killed her lover. Her reason for killing her lover might be because she did not think her lover loved her enough.
